|Secondary pathway

Grade 9 : Students attend a comprehensive and multi-dimensional career assessment online –This is a 40-minute online test the student can attend in School or at home without any prior preparation- Students participate in a one-on-one career mentoring session to understand one's strengths, personality, interests, aptitude, learning style, motivations etc. Which lasts for 40 minutes. This online test can be taken under the supervision of a teacher or a counsellor.

Upon the completion of the test, Edexeed Education will generate a comprehensive report of around 35 pages which clearly analyses the multi-dimensional psychometric aspects of a personality which is followed by an online mentoring session which lasts for around 50 to 60 minutes.

Points of discussion include.

5 factors to be considered before selecting one’s career motives. Strengths and weaknesses of a personality, how to maximise the strengths in order to mould a successful personality. How to overcome the weaknesses and remedy those areas. Preparation of an action plan for an optimal result in grade 10 and align the career test results to more than 50 careers and the academic performance required for these careers and motivational tips etc.

2.Grade 10 – Take a stream selection career assessment and a multi-dimensional test if not already taken

-Students attend an academic mentoring session with a senior counsellor online, create a career and subject pathway as per the personality, Interest, aptitude, motivation etc. suggest the entrance and admission exam requirements for the selected career pathways. Suggest short term online courses and Clarify student doubts regarding careers and admission process. Discuss the career report and the optimal streams to be selected in grade 11.

3 Grade 11 -Students take a comprehensive subject and stream selector career test and explore various courses and careers by accessing the career library in the Edexeed website, explore university requirements and admission requirements-attend a mentoring session-access the student dashboard in the edexeed website and identify the colleges and admission process in line with the chosen career path-continue with the entrance exam preparations like JEE, NEET,SAT and IELTS -review the action plan -clarify student doubts in regards to the career path chosen and admission process in India and abroad

Students will be given a comprehensive career report and a college milestone report with a list of colleges and universities in India and abroad as per the courses suggested in the career test.

|Higher secondary Pathway

4.Grade 12 -Take an engineering/commerce/humanities selector test and a multi-dimensional test if not already taken.  Generate a comprehensive career test , college selection mile stone report, abroad study profiling and abroad college selection report Attend a mentoring and review session with the counsellor-review the entrance exam preparation and test results if already taken. Review the action plan and college application process. Assist the students in preparing the college documents. Process the college admission for interested students in India and abroad. (Admission process and application process fees will be separately charged as per the number of colleges and courses. This will be different from country to country)

About the counsellor

Mr. Mathew worked as a Principal for many International Schools and currently serves as the director and CEO for Edexeed Education, an online education service which operates in the verticals of teaching, counselling and consulting. He is also an examiner in English Language and Literature and Theory of Knowledge for the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge Assessment International.
Mr. Mathew is a passionate educator who began his career in 1993 and spent the last 32 years of his life as an educator and school administrator working with diverse School systems and curricula. Mr. Mathew worked with major education boards like CBSE(India), Cambridge International Examination Board, Pearson Education, International Baccalaureate, and steered many schools through the accreditation process. He is also a highly experienced teacher trainer, academic Advisor and trained career counsellor by University of California, Univeriety, Singapore and Edumilestones Bangalore, India.
