Canadian Curriculum: All provinces & territories of Canada have developed their own education system that follow government standards and ensure best quality education. School is mandatory for ages 6-18, after which they can choose to attend College or University. Education system in Canada follows the given structure. Elementary school runs from Kindergarten to Grade 6, Junior High or Middle school runs from grades 7-8, and High School runs from Grades 9-12. All schools have mandatory or core curriculum subjects such as English, French, Math, Science, Physical education, and social studies or Social sciences which must be studied for a set number of years or terms, as decided by the province/territory. Canadian education offers quality education and research opportunities from Elementary to Post Secondary. Letter grades are followed in Elementary to Secondary school, each letter corresponds to a percentage range Canada education system helps students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, writing skills, teamwork, presentation, and communication skills along with respect for human rights, equality, diversity, and a stable & peaceful society. It prepares individuals to work anywhere in the world.
